I'm inquiring about "DataSource.Error"

I'm going to import files from Autodesk using "Autodesk Construction Cloud".
I can log in to auth 2.0 and see the directory name of autodesk docs, but i can't get the final file and get an error.
Autodesk is authorized as project admin, but the symptoms are the same.

Error message is belows:

DataSource.Error: No data requests for this project in the last 30 days. Users with project admin access can request data from Autodesk Data Connector.

How can I solve the problem?
Is there any help chat or ticket issue for MS Cloud?
Is it because I use free Fabric?

  • Thank you for the explanation.
I already knew the guide link you gave me.

The problem has now been resolved.

The problem was with the settings and environment of Autodesk Docs.
The actual data can only be seen if it was extracted from Autodesk Docs.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

I would suggest looking at this guide of connecting if you haven't done so already: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/autodesk-construction-cloud.

Secondly, it's important to read the pre-req and I've never used Autodesk before but I'm assuming you need to schedule the extractions or do a manual extraction before you can see any data.

I'd firstly start by doing that step and making sure you can view it from Autodesk directly within their website. If it shows there, then it should show inside Power BI aswell.

Also, the fabric license type doesn't apply to the type of error message you're getting, so no need to worry about that.

Please let me know if that helps.

  • Thank you for your answer.

    Now it's connected.

    It's not a Fabric Problem. it's a Autodesk problem.

Autodesk must extract first. and Fabric can import data.

if anyone has the same problem as me later.
