Hide/Remove rows in Matrix view from multiple datasets with no data
Hi All,
I have a problem that I cannot fix. This is the situation:
I have two datasets that I would like to combine in one matrix. I join them with ID_DATASET and RESULTAATTEAM on a dimension table. In the Matrix I selected the DATASET description column + the RESULTTAATTEAM column (first 2 columns in the picture). After that I use the measure KTV from one dataset and FTR from the other dataset.
As you can see in the picture there are a lot of empty rows. All the FTR rows in the dataset KTV are empty because there is no data for that selection.
My question is: how can I hide/delete the rows that have no data? So in the picture the rows from KTV in the dataset FTR and FTR in the dataset of KTV? I tried using Filters > Null. For Example FTR > 0 but then whole KTV set will be removed.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks! Marco

Hi Anonymous ,
Did you enbale the option Show items with no data in the visual? Please try to disable it to check again. If it doesn't meet your requirement, kindly share your sample data and excepted result to me. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I've disabled that option so that is not the solution. I cannot share this data and pdbx, because it contains private data.
There is no other way to hide empty rows?
Thnx,
Marco

Hi Anonymous ,
Try to drag your field that you want filtered into visual level filter to exclude the blank.
