Hide all slicers

Hi, I have a Power BI dashboard that contains 10 pages; each page has one or more slicers. I want to hide all slicers when converting to PDF. Here’s what I’ve done so far that hasn’t worked:
  1. I created a bookmark for each hidden slicer or set of slicers on each page.
  2. I then grouped all the bookmarks into one group for hidden slicers and did the same for slicers that are visible.
  3. My plan was to create two buttons: "Hide" and "Interactive." When I click on "Hide," I want all slicers to be hidden. When I click on "Interactive," I want to see all slicers without having to manually adjust each page.
  • Hi Nabil20_24

You have to hide all slicers while exporting to PDF. In this case you have to follow the below steps.

PowerBI Desktop>> View>>Click on sync slicers

After opening above pane, you just hide the filters across all pages and export it to PDF.

Thanks for the reply from bhanu_gautam, PijushRoy and suparnababu8.

    Hi Nabil20_24 ,

If you just to hide all the slicer and export to PDF , then suparnababu8 's reply is to realize your requirements. Then if you still want to keep the button selection effect, I provide you with a method similar to your needs, except that it may be more cumbersome and I use the new slicer. Here are my steps:

1.Here are my test tables:financials and Table.

2.Created a slicer approximation of the button.

2.Create a measure  and the color will change to white when we select hide.

    Measure =
    SWITCH(
        TRUE(),
        SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Hide all slicers])="Hide","white","black")

3.Set callout values and button colors in the visualization pane.

    (1)Callout values color setting:

    (2)Button color setting:

    Select "Default".

    Select "Selected".

4.The final results are as follows.

    Click on "Hide":

    Click on "Interactive":

  • Nabil20_24 , You plan is right after this steps

    Set Button Actions:

For the "Hide" button, set the action to navigate to the "Hidden Slicers" bookmark group.
For the "Interactive" button, set the action to navigate to the "Visible Slicers" bookmark group.
    Test the Buttons:

Click the "Hide" button to ensure all slicers are hidden across all pages.
Click the "Interactive" button to ensure all slicers are visible across all pages

Hi thanks for this. Actually that's what I was intending to do but when I click on action it shows me the individual bookmarks instead of the grouped bookmark and hence why it did not work

    Hi Nabil20_24

The bookmark is the screenshot of the current page
Therefore, if you are trying to hide the slicer in all 10 pages by a single, it will not work.
Please let me know if you have any question
