Help: Data.Format.Error - couldn't convert to "Number" after sorting a column
I have problems when sorting certain columns in the Power Query Editor. Somehow after merging certain tables or adding columns, there seems to be a problem when I try to sort a column.. but only ...
pschrot , When you try sorting, it might bring in more data, usually operations are tested on a sample 1000 rows. do column profiling (option under view) using full data (Option in the status bar)
Change data type to text and try
