Google Analytics - Week over Week

I am working on a report that connects my Google Analytics data to Power BI. I would like to see data for sessions, transactions, etc week over week.

When I pull in the "week of the year" metric, it does not get sorted under my date hierarchy.

Is there an easy way to create a column that will compare all my data week over week, without having to write a DAX formula that calculates and sums for each metric? This is what I have currently. I also attached an image of the available metrics I could pull in.

    Hi Anonymous

Click on the metric in the Fields pane on the right. Then go up to the main ribbon and click on Measure Tools tab.  On the far left you will see a "Home Table" drop down.  Click on this and select your date / calendar table.

I hope I have understood what you're wanting. If not, let me know and I can further assist.

Anonymous I know you have a Date table.  Refer to the steps I've mentioned in my earlier post. To repeat them:

        1. Go to the fields pane on the right.

        2. Click on the specific metric / field you're referring to that's not in the Date table.

        3. Go to the main ribbon and click on the tab Measure Tools.

        4. Go to the far left of the tab and you will see a Home Table drop down button.

        5. Click on the Home Table and then select Date table.
