"Get More Visuals"- Can't Load New Visual
When I select "Get More Visuals" in PBI Desktop, it correctly connects me to the "Power BI visuals" page. However, when I select a visual to down load, I get the rotating circle of dots which never stop.
I am really puzzled by this as it worked last week.
Any ideas?
You were spot on. Turned out to be that my network started blocking downloads from appsource.
Thanks again for your help.

Bebo I just tested at my end, and it is working fine. Seems like a machine-specific issue. Can you check it on another machine?

Hey, can you elaborate on how you resolved this? I am facing the same issue. I was able to download an additional visual, but now am getting the infinite loading when selecting a new visual from the tiled menu. I have checked my firewall settings and PowerBi desktop is in the list of allowed applications. What did you do to resolve this? I really need a Gantt chart 😞

My problem was that my McAfee firewall was blocking this. It occurred right after McAfee did an update and my approved apps settings did not transfer proerly to the new upadted version.

Hi, I am facing a similar problem. My "Get more visuals" window isn't opening. It loads and then closes automatically. I have checked my network and firewall settings but they are all okay. Can anyone please help?

I encountered the same problem today. My suggestion is to directly visit the AppSource website (https://appsource.microsoft.com/) and proceed with the download there. Once the download is finished, just import the file into Power BI.
