Get Excel file from SharePoint - Blocked by security
Hello,
I have been trying to get data from an excel file from a Teams SharePoint but I keep getting the error "Access to the resource is forbidden."
I am an owner of the site and add/remove/access files all the time
I have tried accessing via Get Data from SharePoint Folder, SharePoint List, and Web.
I have added the site to my trusted sites.
Any thoughts would be great!
Thank you!

You need to access the SharePoint site. Normally it will be somethign like https://tenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteName - I've never seen it with the teams text in the URL, but MS might be testing some new stuff. It is possible that has broken it. As you are an MS employee, you should ask internally as to why permissions aren't working.

I was getting the link to the Excel file from the Excel Share Button.
Another way is to copy the link from the Browser URL, reducing it to the appropriate folder, and then using PBI to browse to the correct folder and file. This allowed me to get to the folder and use the excel file, but next time I opened PBI permissions were denied again.
Hope this helps others, but I don't have a solution yet.
