Get data from a password protected website

I'm struggling to find a simple way to get data from a password protected website (It doesn't have an API or anything like that!).

I already tried Power Automate Desktop, using Desktop Recorder but it's both annoying and inefficient to use that, since I wanna the process running in the background.

(I didn't find a way of doing that using the web version of Power Automate!)

All I have to do is to access the website (using my username and password), and load a second URL which directly downloads a .xlsx file to my computer (I also would like to move the file from Downloads folder to an specific folder or even download directly to the SharePoint).

The generic URL below has the same format the original URL, without any kind of file extensions (i.e. .xlsx, etc.). I have no idea on how that URL actually works, I just know that when the URL is loaded a .xlsx file is downloaded.

https://generic_url.com/generateexcel

Does anyone have a guess on what is the best approach to do that?

Thank you!!
