Gauge - Displaying % achieved

Currently on a report I produce I have a number of Gauge charts showing the in month, year to date and forecast performance against plan (all in whole numbers).  I want another gauge which shows as a percentage what the forecast is against the plan.  I also want it to include like the below both the plan value (target) and the shortfall (gap) but as a number.  I dont currently have any percentages in my datasets.  Is this the problem?

    Hi GWright87,

Fior that you need to add two cards with both values, or a measure that makes the sum.

  • Hi GWright87 ,

For making this you need to create the percentage metrics in this case the Target gauge would be something similar to the metric below:

    Target % = DIVIDE( SUM(Table[Actual]), SUM(Table[Target]))

This measure would give you the 31%, replace the columns by the ones you use for the Target and for the actual values.

If you need any further assistance can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.
