Gateway issues

    Yes the problem was the infrastructure. The Database ran out of space and so whenw gateway tried to connect it either times out and shows Gateway unreachable. The space in DB is increased and gateway is back online

The main method to solve this is to access the gateway server itself. It should be a server on your network that you can remote into.  The most common cause is that the "Gateway Service" is not running.  To fix that, you run "services.msc" and locate the services which should have a name like "On Premises Data Gateway" or similar.  They need to be marked as "running" and not "stopped".

After that, i'd go to the start menu of the server and look for "On Premises Data Gateway" application, log into it and see what its telling you.
