Formatting missing from Modelling tab

Hey everybody

in my versio of Desktop Power BI Version: 2.83.5894.961 64-bit (July 2020), on Modelling tab there is no Formatting option, at all

I have there Relationships, Calculations, Page Refresh, What if, Security and Q&A

What am I missing?

Thank you

  • Hi annahorodecka ,

Click on one of the columns on your tables under Fields Pane, the Column Tools section appears.

    Thanks,

    Pragati

    Hi annahorodecka ,

Did you follow what I mentioned as my response?

Also, try tagging people while responding, just helps on who's response you are trying to respond.

    Thanks,

    Pragati

    Hi annahorodecka ,

You must select a visualization to show the Format tab.

I do not have the icon on the left. I am still lost on how to format the numbers.

      I figured out a solution

I made a new measure and using the previous measure this unlock the measure setting for me to format correctly.

  • Hi, I am on version: 2.123.742.0 64-bit. I came across a similar instance. However, after clicking on the column name, I found the Formatting tab under the "Column Tools" ribbon. I hope it helps.
