Filtering a Demension Filter

Hi Experts

I have a filter in the following format in a table in Power BI

Name     Index

AOP       1

PY          2

i issues i am having is that when a user does not select either AOP and or PY the filter shows ALL - how do you stop this so that user only has the option of AOP,PY and not ALL..

  • Anonymous,

Drag measure below to Visual level filters and set Show items when the value is not blank.

    Measure =
    CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( Table1[Name] ), ALLSELECTED ( Table1[Name] ) )

    Hi Anonymous

Maybe you can use ISFILTERED(Table1[Name]) to test whether the user has made any selection (FALSE if they haven't)

With that you can take the necessary steps in your measure
