FILTER TABLE
Hi,
I'm new to POWER BI. Perhaps my problem is very easy to solve.
I am trying to create a report in which the end user can select the names of the staff members and then return the name of others staff member who have the same "traits" of the members that were selected.
I'm attaching the table

Given the names: Emma, Charlotte, Emily.
I want to create a table visualization like this for Department, building, shift, lockers, color. (The tables can be separate from one another).

Can anyone help?
The main idea is to choose different names of the staff and then return the names of the staff member who share the same traits.
I've already tried a filter by name, but it only applies to the ones I selected. I also tried the Chiclets Slicer, but it doesn's have the capability to filter according to the multiple values that were selected.
I'll appreciate the help.
Anonymous see attached and hope that is what you are looking for, you can further enhance/change it as per your need.
Look at Department and Name tables in attached, ignore other stuff.

You should be able to make your target table by just making a table visual with your desired fields (in this case, person and department), and make slicers for the desired fields. In your example of the seeing people in the same department, just click on the department header to sort by those values to group them together.
This would get you the example table you provided, but it does not give the description you gave (click on person to see other people with same), so not sure what you really need. Do you want multiple tables/report pages, one for each field? Or something fancier?

It is indeed something fancier. I need to be able to choose multiple values (people's names) and then return the names of the people grouped by deparment, color, locker, etc.
For instance, if I choose Sophia and Charlotte.
Name Deparment Assigned Building Assigned Shift Locker Area Assigned Color Sophia HR Blomex A B1 Blue Charlotte HR Carben B B1 Pink I would need to return the names of the people who have the following assigned to
1. Deparment "HR": all of the names of the people who work at HR
2. People whose assigned building is "Blomex" & "Carben"
3. And so on for the rest of the fields.
I don't know if this makes it clear.
