FILTER A CLOCK
I need to set up a filter where I can filter between times, but I'm not succeeding, I tried to set up the hours in a format similar to a calendar, but to no avail, I need a guide to start with.
Hi Gabriellogs,
Setting up a time filter can be a bit tricky, but I can guide you through it! Here’s a step-by-step approach to create a time filter in Power BI:
Add a Time Column:
- Ensure your dataset has a column with time values. If not, you might need to create one.
Create a Slicer:
- Drag the time column to the canvas.
- Select the Slicer visualization type.
Format the Slicer:
- Click on the slicer to select it.
- In the Format pane, under Visual > Slicer settings > Options, change the Style to Relative Time.
Set the Time Range:
- In the slicer, you can specify the time window using a whole number and a unit of time (e.g., minutes, hours).
Apply the Filter:
- Drag the time field to the Filters pane, and set it as a filter on the visual, page, or report level.
Please let me know if this help you, if yes, please accept as solution and give a Kudo.
thank you
Hello Gabriellogs ,
Assume that you have date/time column, you need to extract as hour in Power Query or Dax. After that create a slicer and put your hour column. İn visualization pane make slicer setting style "Between". But if you'd like to see as a calendar between slicer, the column needs to be date or date/time. Even it date/time column, it will be shown as a date format in slicer.Kind Regards,
