Filled Map has gaps

I'm using the google community mobility dataset and want to visualise the data using the "filled map" visual. Mostly, it works fine. Some regions though have gaps, either because they are being mistaken as cities or countries or because they're not being found altogether.

 

"North Rhine-Westphalia" for example isn't visualised at all unless I recode the data to "NRW". "Canton of Zug" is mistaken for the city "Zug" unless I recode it as "Kanton Zug".

 

When I search the regions using Bing Maps though I always get the correct result. Also, I get different results in Power BI Desktop versus published online Power BI reports.

      thanks parry2k , I did try the first and second tip but setting the category to "County" or "State or Province" made it worse. Power BI then puts Kent to Kentucky and half of the UK becomes "Redcar and Cleveland".  Also, I'm not sure how to go about the second tip. I classified the Country in the dataset accordingly and added it to the location hierarchy of the visual. Is that all you need to do? I'd imagine that you somehow have to add it to the more finegranular region column for it to be used?

    Hi Anonymous , 

    I download the global dataset in above link to test this, I could find "North Rhine-Westphalia" in Germany(is it should in Germany?). You could change category like below to see whether it works or not
