Filled map couldn't recognize countries

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make filled map, but some countries stayes unrecognized.

the wierd thing is that regular map (with bubbles) do recognize them with no problem.

Already tried but didn't help:

1. make sure I have the latest version (2.131.1203.0 64-bit July 2024)

2. make sure spelling is correct and recognized by Bing maps

3. creating hyrarchy with city column

4. defining columns data category as "country" and "city"

you can see in attached screenshots the white unrecognized countries: Venezuela, Yemen, Uzbekistan, UK, Zambia, Zimbabue, etc.

    Hi Gruberit

I'm sorry I made a mistake before, but after my testing, this function is working fine.

    Here I create a sample:

    The result:

Please ensure that the data type for your country and city columns is set to "Text". Sometimes, geographical data might be read as a numeric type, which can cause recognition issues.

Clear the cache and refresh your dataset. Sometimes, data might not be refreshed correctly, leading to such issues.

Make sure that you don't have the city and country names in the same column. They should be in separate columns for better recognition.

By the way, here's my desktop version:

    Hi Gruberit

These are the regions that Filled Map supports displaying:

If the regions you want to show aren't working properly, check to see if they're in those areas. If not, you can also consider switching to a different map visual.

      Thanks for the answer!

I think these are ISO language codes, not region code.

It doesnt recognize UK, for example, even though en-GB is on this list.

unfortunately I can't use another map-visual since it's task for studies which seems to appear only at my computer. I wonder if it's a bug.
