Filled map - color based on user selection
Hi there i have table with 4 columns: Country, Population, DEaths, GDP.
I need filled map in my report. For now i have map colored with GDP and in the tooltip i have Population and Deaths.
BUT
What i really need is filled map with a choice option(slicer) for user which variable to color the map with. So if the users clicks on population the map gets filled with color scale (blue-low, yellow-high) with Population variable, if he chooses deaths - similar.
i came across this great solution:

but it only applies to visuals where you can put multiple values
Help will be apprecieated

Did not get completely. Refer if this can help :https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Slicer-MTD-QTD-YTD-to-filter-dates-using-the-slicer/td-p/500115
This will allow you to switch measure.

HI Anonymous,
If you are work with a matrix/table or normal bar/column chart, you can achieve dynamic color control based on conditional color formatting feature and measure formula.
For filled map visual, it does not support to do advanced color formatting. I'd like to suggest you submit an idea for this requirement.Regards,
