Yes, it's possible. Create a Field Parameter that switches between:
Hierarchy: Manager → Supervisor → Employee
Geography: State → City → Street
Add the Field Parameter to the Matrix Rows area, and the expand/collapse functionality will still work for the selected hierarchy.
