Export Dynamic Matrix

Hello,

So i'm using PowerBi Desktop.

I have a dynamic matrix that i want to export on Excel (or sql server if it is possible).

The problem that i want to use a button in my report to export the matrix. I found a solution that can export only tables, but i want to export matrix and it's Dynamic ( the number of my columns is variable).

Thanks for the help.

houssemabd  - Hey, you can export an entire report to excel as well usig the Power Automate visual. Another option, if your report only have one Matrix, then you can create a paginated report and user can export the matrix to excel.

    Hi houssemabd ,

As far as I know, exporting to matrix style is not currently supported. Or you can submit your idea to power bi ideas website.

A workaround. you can try use Pivot columns. If you want to do some filters on the table, please insert one step before pivoting table. If the filter is dynamic, please replace the argument with Parameter.

Then load the data to power bi. Copy the table from the data view.

    Best Regards
