ExecuteXmla failed with result

Hi Team,   Getting this 'ExecuteXmla failed with result' error message when opening a .pbix file downloaded from Power BI Service.  I can open other local files, this is only occurring to this par...

Hi Anonymous 

Please check whether you download the wrong bit version Power BI Desktop in your PC. If your system is 64-bit, please download 64-bit desktop version instead of 32-bit in PC.

I find many end user resolve this issue by installing previous version. Please try previous version in June, July or others.

    Hi Rico,

     

    Thank you for the reply.

     

    However, it did not work. My system is 64-bit, and I have tried the latest version (2.96.1061.0), the July version (2.95.983.0), and the June version (2.94.921.0), neither of them worked. Downloaded from the link you provided. 

     

    Is there any other reason that might cause this? Or something else I can try?
