Excel memory
Hi
We have updated our server and visual studio to SQL Server 2022.
After this we have problems in excel "There is not enough memory to complete this operation"
Excel is connected to our analysis service tabular model.
There are no problems if we make the same report in Power BI dektop.
Our BI server has 48 GB of RAM
Now it seems that excel can only handle very little data, maybe only 5.000 rows and 6 columns.
Can anybody give an idea on how to analyze this ?

I think Excel is capable of handling much larger amounts of data, here is some documentation which states that the .xls file format has a limit of 65536 rows per sheet of paper and the .xlsx file format has a limit of 1048576 rows per sheet of paper; you can try upgrading Excel or just work with your data in Power BI Desktop.

No I do not think it is a general problem with excel.
We normally handle much more data.
So it has something to do with a problem when excel is connected to a analysis service cube
