Drillthrough with highlight interaction
- 6 years ago
Hi,
After my reasearch, i find a way to meet your requirement.
Please take following steps:
1)Copy your original table in Query Editor.
2)Choose the copy table as a table visual in drillthrough target page and the original table as a table visual in start page.
3)Try this measure and apply it to the copy table conditional formatting:
Measure = IF(MAX('Table (2)'[Department])=SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Department]),"#FF0000")4)When drillthrough Department A, it shows:
See my attached pbix file.
Best Regards,
Giotto
Anonymous , Create a measure with all department
depart Date = CALCULATE([measure],all(department))
create a color measure like thsi
Color department = if(FIRSTNONBLANK(department[department],blank()) = selectedvalue(department[department]),"lightgreen","red")
Use this measure in conditional formatting with "Field" option
amitchandak , tnx for your suggestion. I am using a cluster chart with departments on the axis . The filter on departments, through drillthrough, persist. The measure CALCULATE([measure],all(department)) does not remove the filter on departments unfortunately.

I have found a workaround:
-duplicate the department (dim) table -->deparment new, use this as axis (same relationship to facts tables as "orginal" department table)
-remove filter department by measure : CALCULATE([measure],all(department))
-highlight selected department with dummy: if(max(department)=max(department new);1;0)
use this measure in conditional formatting data colors --> f.eks rules 1 = red 0 = blue
