Drillthrough the Slicer
Greetings everyone.
I need help on how to drillthrough my slicer. I have a slicer of students name, and I also added a drillthrough button. But, when I selected a student name in the slicer (dropdown), the drillthrough button did not function. What should I do?

Jane_D , yes it doesn't work for slicer selection. so maybe you need to include like a msg that shows the way to drill through.

Hey ...Try and Check this go to visualisations pane. Format visual . In that visual change slicer settings>options> style to Drop-down. Thank you

still don't PowerBee777 as he mentioned, the only ways that will happen is to right click on the field from the slicer and drill through.
but if you want to go through a button, then it won't happen from the slicer, it should be a field like in a table and you click on it then you get the option to drill through the button.
Thank you for replying. Then does it means it is impossible to add a drillthrough button for slicers?
As for fields like table, I have done that and it works. But I think it is not user friendly as after user click the student name in the dropdown, the student also need to click the field in the table. Only after then, the user can click the drillthrough button. Mind to share your idea or thought on this?- Idrissshatila
