Drill through with show and hide visual
Hi,
I have a acenario in my current pbi report, I have a summary page with Event id, also having another page is detail page with table visual. Here my requirement is when I select eventid in summary page, it will open details page along with relevant information about the eventid, if I didn't select any eventid it will show "ALL" as a text visual in detail page. How van I implement this please guide me. Thank you

Kindly share more details what you expect specially ALL as text visual. Do you want to show all data in table visual when no eeventid is selected ?
1. If you want to show based on event id , this is the ideal case for drillthrough, simple set details page as drillthrough and pass event_id as filter ( under drillthorugh page setting)
Here are the steps you can follow:
Create a measure using below dax :
Event ID Display =
IF(
ISFILTERED('YourTableName'[Event id]),
SELECTEDVALUE('YourTableName'[Event id], "ALL"),
"ALL"
)Go to detail page => add a card visual => add above measure => Turn off category lable to show measure text.
Go to detail spage => under page setting , set as drillthrough pahe => Add event_id as filter
You can add button to move back to summery page.
2. You can also do on a same page . By defualt it will show eventid and other details you are showing on summery page. When you expand it wil show related details for the event id expanded. This can be achieved using html custom visual. You would need a measure and paste that measure under html value section.

I think ISFILTERED doesn’t handle a single pick and HTML visuals aren’t standard, and the simple fix is just set EventID as the drill‑through filter and use a HASONEVALUE(EventID) measure on a card so it shows the chosen id or “ALL” when nothing is passed.

The drillthrough page requires a filter value to be passed to it. If EventID is the drillthrough field, Power BI needs a single EventID value in the current filter context before the drillthrough action becomes available. If no EventID is selected, or if multiple EventID values are in the current context, Power BI has no single value to pass to the drillthrough page, so the drillthrough remains disabled. This means that while you can theoretically display "ALL" in a text or card visual on the drillthrough page when no EventID is selected, users will never be able to navigate to that state through drillthrough because the action itself cannot be triggered without a single EventID value.
Thanks for your support, but I did same process what you mentioned above, but my main question is in summary page Select one event id using drill through it will open Detail page with all details in a table visual, when I not selected any event id in summary page it will show above of detail page as ALL.

Hello Rakeshboga1 ,
You can create 2 different pages, one you already created which shows data for selected event_id , create another page which shows all ( on a card or similar) ( and all records in a table visual if you need). Instead of using drillthrough using visual itself, use 2 buttons to navigate through different pages. I hope you are clear now.
