Double click with preview feature On-Object Interaction

I really like the On-Object Interaction feature... however I sadly have to turn it off ðŸ˜

The reason is because every time I double click in the Deneb editor to select a word, it creates chaos triggering a format mode, disabling the ability to continue editing - which is an immense pain

I've had the whole screen full of these 'exit format mode' messages pop up.

Is there a way to turn off this double click behaviour and retain all the other goodness of object interaction?  (Actually, I only like the way the right side menus are re-arranged, the on-object interaction part isn't really that useful to me ðŸ˜…).

    Hi vfx661 ,

Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to disable just the double-click behavior in the On-Object Interaction feature while keeping the rest of it active.

If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
