Difference between two columns in Matrix with Months
Hi,
I try to add a column with difference between two different periods columns ('luty' -> February, 'marzec' -> March). Could you please help me out with this problem? Below you will find the screenshots with the following matrix and rows, columns and values names.
You can take the current month and last month and add or creating rolling 2 months
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date])) last MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH))) last MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH)))) last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))) Rolling 2 = CALCULATE(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],ENDOFMONTH(Sales[Sales Date]),-2,MONTH))With a date calendar
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
