DAX Parameter on multile columns
Hi,
I have a date table that has a date, previous_day, MTD, YTD etc columns.
For previous_day, MTD, YTD the values are either Y or N.
Is it possible to have a parameter based on previous_day, MTD, YTD that is set to Y but the user selects one of the 3 columns ?
They can then run this for the same report to show either previous_day, MTD, YTD data.
This will be done in pagenated reports.

Do those columns already have the expected to-date values? If so, you can use field parameters to switch between columns. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-field-parameters
The Y/N column can be used in a slicer. Here's a demo of what field parameters can do.

I am not sure how your semantic model looks like, but I believe FIELD PARAMETER feature can help to solve your problem.

The 3 columns previous_day, MTD, YTD the values are already set to either Y or N.
Im looking at creating the parameter in pagenated report.
I would like to pass Previous Day = Y or MTD = Y or YTD = Y to the query and return dates based on this.
