DAX Function CALCULATE in Power Query
Hello,
I need a simple function that I know how to create in DAX but I cannot figure out how to implement it in Power Query. It is:
Column = CALCULATE(MAX([Number]),ALLEXCEPT(Table,Table[Group]))
Just finding the highest value for each unique value in "Group". As the function is in DAX I cannot use it in power query and need help "translating" it.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
I don't really know what the DAX Expression means, but if you want to find the highest value for each unique value in "Group", then:
- Go to the Query Editor
- Right-click the column 'Group' in 'Table'
- Select the Option 'Group by...'
- A new message box should pop up, in this: Select the operation 'Max' and the column 'Number'Now for each unique value in 'Group', there is a corresponding maximum value from 'Number'.
