Indeed, sometimes I encounter this situation, I usually solve it like this. You can try to change type with locale.

Super UserAnonymous , Hope data type is date.
One option column tool, you can choose data format. Once you click you will see that tab.
The second is under Data Modelling you have an option for formatting, you should able to give format you want under property

Hi amitchandak thanks for the comment! tried both, doesn't seem to be working. No matter what format (custom in Model formatting) I choose, dd is confused with mm and other way around.
