DateTable linking wiht multiple fact table ( dumb question maybe)
Hi - I am sure this is a very simple quesiton but I cannot for the life of me find the answer after a lot of searching.
I get daily reports as example 12/1 and 15/1 below. All I want to do is to link them to the date table properly so that when I create a chart it....................... works! I have created a relationship between the datetable and each fact table but I figure from the test chart below I am doing something wrong as there is no line on my line chart 😞 presumably because there is no replationship between the 2 fact table but i dont know - any help for simple old me would be great - thanks 🙂

Hi WEARLE ,
As aj1973 said, because your data comes from two tables, even if you have created relationships, they will still only be displayed separately when you put them into the visual object, so it is recommended to put all the data in one table. Based on the screenshot you provided, the 12/1/24 and 15/1/24 tables appear to have the same number of columns and column names, you can try to append the two tables in Power Query.
