Date Hierarchy - Hide dates with no values

Hi, 

I am using a date hierarchy as x-axis within a stacked column chart. I want to keep this in order to be able to drillup and -down.

Nonetheless I do no want to see the dates where no values (for y-axis) are available. I need a dynamic solution for this since the days are not the same each month. So far I have not found a solution to this issue. Even if I filter another column (show no blanks) it still keeps displaying all calender days (with or without values).

I would be thankful for any suggestions / support!
