In powerBI, if you have an .xlsx file that has the date column in the form: dd/mm/yyyy and if you use power BI to convert this field to a date, it will work unless dd and mm are <= 12. For instance...

Hi Anonymous ,
Check your file regional settings on options Regional Settings if they are matching with your computer.
One way to overcome this is to delete the Changed type step on your query and then create a column by example write the date in the correct order and then format as date.
