Data Labels with Cross Filtering

Question

Hello,&nbsp;I have a question about the cross filtering. I have two bar charts showing the data breakdown by different categories. When I click on one of the charts, it filters the other one - which is what we'd expect and also what we're looking for. However, when it cross filters, it only shows the filtered amount (so for the first bar, it only shows $4.3 as opposed to $154.9). My question is, is there a way to show the total too?&nbsp;&nbsp;What we currently see is this:&nbsp;&nbsp;Would like to show this (without the red boxes 🙂 )&nbsp;&nbsp;Does anyone know if that's possible&nbsp;

Based on my research, it is not supported to show the totals for columns in a clustered column chart when you cross filter it through another visual. You can raise an idea about this feature at&nbsp;Ideas (powerbi.com) to let the product team know it.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I have some workarounds as below, hope you will find them helpful. The sample file is attached at bottom.&nbsp;

Workaround One: Use a stacked column chart and add the other category to Legend. In this way it can always have the total values on top of columns.&nbsp;

&nbsp;
Workaround Two: Create a measure to get the total value without filtering, then add it to the clustered column chart as a second y-axis field.&nbsp;
Total of Quantity = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Quantity]),ALL('Table'[Group]))

&nbsp;
Workaround Three: Use a custom column chart along with the total measure from Workaround two. This is similar to Workaround two.&nbsp;
