Data entered before actual date

I have a table where every year is working to give me the difference between one year and the previous year’s total sales—except for 2018. Data has been entered for 2018, Jan. 1. This is the only year that doesn’t work. It sometimes work but most times returns no difference or the wrong difference.

    Could you be more precisely with your issue by posting some sample/mock data which can help us reproduce the issue? So that we can better assist on it. It's even better to just share a sample pbix file which can reproduce the issue. You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here.
