Dashboards not refreshing
- Anonymous5 years ago
HI lmelo,
Have you also modify the MashupDisableContainerAutoConfig to enable the custom settings? By default custom setting not auto-enabled. (please also try to restart your gateway client if these setting does not change the current client)
SpoilerIf you've changed any of these settings manually, automatic scaling is not enabled by default. To enable it, in \Program Files\On-premises data gateway\Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.Pipeline.GatewayCore.dll.config set
MashupDisableContainerAutoConfigto False.Regards,

When you say dashboards you mean reports, right?
How many concurrent connections can your MySQL db handle? Try disabling parallel load of data sources to see if it makes a difference.

Yes, sorry, I mean reports. How can I disable this parallel load you're talking? Thanks.

HI lmelo,
How long did these refreshes spend? Did these exceed the refresh timeout(2 hours)? For the parallel loading option, you can find it in option -> data load.

It just take a few seconds to update the tables. I found the option to disable parallel loading now, thanks! It works on desktop, I think you're right in this was the cause of the problem. But on the service (web), I tryed to manually click on "update now" and the problem persists. Is there anyway to disable parallel loading on the service too, or just on the desktop? Thanks!
