cyclic relationships

Hi powerbiexpert22 ,
You can adjust the cross filter direction of your relationships from bidirectional to single direction. This can help prevent circular dependencies by ensuring that filters only flow in one direction1.

Or you can create an intermediary table that breaks the direct relationship between the tables involved in the cycle. This table can act as a bridge, allowing you to manage relationships without creating a loop2.

Implement a star schema design where you have a central fact table connected to dimension tables. This design minimizes the chances of creating cyclic relationships4.
