custom column in edit query
ImkeFmight be able to help with this. Fairly difficult to do with M in working with multple queries. I assume that you want to add the resource name to the 2nd query.
This would be very easy to do in DAX if it is OK to do it there using something like LOOKUPVALUE.
Hi Greg,
can you please provide DAX expression, above example

Hi
From single excel sheets source.
sheet 1 sheet 2
projId projname offshoreDM id onsiteDM id resId resname
111 abc 789 799 799 Buddy
222 xyz 888 999 999 Johny
Above examples, in a company resourceid same as DMis . so we need to display OffshoreDM name and OnsiteDMname in same table. How to write DAX or M query langauage expressions?

It depends on how the table shall look:
a) If you want 2 new columns with names, you just perform 2 merges after another for the lookup.
b) But for further modeling, it could be benefitial to have a different structure:
Check "projId" and "projname" -columns and choose "unpivot others".
Then lookup/merge the table on column "Value". That will return 2 rows for each projid.
