Creating a visualization that doesn't change when filtering

    There is a button called 'edit interactions'. I think it is on the view ribbon - not sure. When you click, you can make individual visuals so they are not filtered. Click the button again when done

Hi HarryT ，

Do you want the multi card to display a static values without being affected by filters, slicer or other visuals? Could you please provide some sample data and your desired result with examples? Thank you.

    I tried uploading a small .pbix file but it doesn't allow it.

    So I was able to get it to work using the "Edit Interactions" button and click not to filter on the Totals multi row card.

    However this only works when using slicers and not the filter pane. 

    If I want to use this I have to hide the filter pane from the users.  I was starting to use this a lot more because of the extra realestate it gives.  Seems like a setback.

      You can block/hide the filters for a particluar visual in the filter pane: select the visual and go to the "Filters for this visual" in the filter pane and choose your option

      This allows you to let users access the filter pane for your visuals of choice. 
      So, for slicers, use "Edit interactions" ; for the filter pane, block or hide filters for that particular visual
