Creating a sequential column with a condition

Hi there!   Im trying to add a column with numerical sequence but depending on the value of another column for example    Period       | id_Person | Value | Sequential # Jan2016    | Person 1   ...

    If your period column is of Date Type you can use following calculated column

     

    Sequential # =
RANKX (
    FILTER ( Table1, Table1[id_Person] = EARLIER ( Table1[id_Person] ) ),
    Table1[Period],
    ,
    ASC,
    DENSE
)
