Created table can't be opened in power query editor

Hi all

If I create a new table via UNION & SUMMARIZE from other tables, the newly created table can't be edited / opened in the power query editor. The option just doesn't show and the table also doesn't appear in the power edito. How so? How can I change it? If I just enter data for instance this isn't an issue.

Thanks!

  • Hello Anonymous,

The tables created outside Power query Are not accessible in power query

  • If you create the table using DAX it will not show up in Power Query at all. There is no way to directly edit the underlying data.

  • Created a Calculated Table and Calculated Column using Dax in Desktop That fileds nor appear in Querry Editor .
We only only See in Desktop And manually cannot edit only edit with dax function Calculated table and Column.

    Thanks,
