create table with date filter applied

    jeanL , a calculated table will not take any slicer filter. Add date to this table, join it with date table and use the slicer to filter data in measure

    Hi amitchandak 

     

    Im not sure if i understand correctly. Please do help. 

    I have added the date into this table, and create a relationship to the slicer. 

    trade_table = 
    ADDCOLUMNS(
            SUMMARIZE(
        summary_table, 
        summary_table[Main Service],
        summary_table[booked_date_month]
        ),
        "ave trade rate", [Rate],
        "total trade teus", CALCULATE(SUM(summary_table[Total TEUs]), ALLSELECTED(summary_table[booked_date_month])
      ))

     

    But it still is unaffected by the slicer date change. Is there something I am not doing right?
