Create column in Table view based on another column's Text
I have tried to use the following formula to have only the text before the period (.) into another column. But I can't get it to work: Values in [Host] column is like: de.webiste.com or fr.website....

Start with following the error. Create a new column with this part:
FIND(".", Append1[host])
Does it work or not? If you get the same error, investigate why the "." is not being recognised. It might be something unusual like a special character (use the UNICODE function to try and identify this)
