Countrows help

I have created two columns that both will either return a "1" or a "blank". Both columns are Data type: Whole number, Format: General (I've tried changing this to Whole number as well). My Countrows ...

    Try without double quotes

    = COUNTROWS(FILTER(Table1, Table1[HEMORRHAGE COUNT] = 1 || Table1[Complication (full)] = 1))
