Copied Slicer is Empty

I have a report with multiple tabs. There is a series of slicers at the top which are synced so that the user can browse the tabs with the same data in context. However, I have added a new tab in this same format, but this time when I copy the same slicers as before, one of the slicers is completely empty. On the other tabs, it still has the full list of items to select. I don't understand why this copy is empty. Other slicers that were copied to this new tab still have all their options listed. Additionally, the data in a matrix visual on this tab is also showing empty for the same data the slicer is missing, yet other data is present. Why does this one slicer behave differently on this one tab and how can I fix it to work as it does on the other tabs?

In case it helps, before copying from another tab, I have the slicer on default selections. It says "All" and nothing is selected in the slicer dropdown.

  • Hey Anonymous ,

You tried put a new slicer and configured it the same data?  If the 'error' stills, try to create a new page and then put a new slicer... If works, well, just configure the new slicer. You can try create a new page and copy and past again the slicers.....Sometimes this behaviour is Inexplicable.

    Regards,
    Marcel

I forgot to mention I did try with a "brand new" slicer, but have the same result. I had this same problem with other slicers on this tab.  The only solution then was delete the tab and started over. Guess I will try that again.. lol. Thank you
