Conversion error when applying filter
Hi Juuls ,
Just for a test try to change the format of that column to a Text format instead of date time and see if still get the error? What I believe can be happening is the local settngs being inconsistent with SQL so instead of having dd/mm/yyyy you arwe getting mm/dd/yyyy (for example) that leads to errors in conversion.
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies!
I have checked the format, since I am indeed using direct query, however without success.
Both the SQL data type als the data type in Power BI are set to Date time, but still the error arrises as soon as I filter a value in the table. Are there any other options to troubleshoot this?
Thanks once more for your help.
Best Regards,
Juul
Hi Juuls , how are you with your issue? Could you solve it? If possible, could you have a look at my current problem? Here you have the link https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Query/Power-Query-Date-Parameter-Binding-to-my-DirectQuery-Mode-error/m-p/3925582#M128981.
Thanks in advance.
