Continuous line controlled by dropdown

I have a line chart which shows work schedule for future months, This is to calculate the labor force required to complete the projects.  The broken line shows the current manpower, however I would like to control this with a dropdown so we can select the current manpower count.  Is this possible? Here is an image:
