Connecting Power BI to SQL
Hi All,
I have established a connection to SQL server database however im having issues understanding the data and im also confused as whether there is any difference creating dax measures for excel reports and dax measures for SQL server.
Is there any good links to read more into this and get some insight as to how to understand and use data from SQL especially data which isnt very clean and has many different tables and also anything on Dax measures using sql database

Hi,
Please refer below links for SQL server with Power BI. DAX will be created on top of the data loaded into vertipaq engine inside Power BI.
