  • cocoloco79 , In matrix you will not be able to color row or column, But can color values.

    Create a color meausre like -if( CONTAINSSTRING('Table'[field],"NNNN" ) || CONTAINSSTRING('Table'[field],"DDDD" ) || CONTAINSSTRING('Table'[field],"OOOO" ) || CONTAINSSTRING('Table'[field],"XXXX" )
    , "yellow", "white")

    And then use in coditional formatting with "Field Value" Option

      Thank you and sorry I'm new to this all.

      I have entered this formula but get an error.

      Colour = if( CONTAINSSTRING('vdc_EmployeeLog'[Employee_Name],"NNNN" ) CONTAINSSTRING('vdc_EmployeeLog'[Employee_Name],"DDDD" ) CONTAINSSTRING('vdc_EmployeeLog'[Employee_Name],"OOOO" ) CONTAINSSTRING('vdc_EmployeeLog'[Employee_Name],"XXXX" ), "yellow", "white")

      A single value for column 'Employee_Name' in table 'vdc_EmployeeLog' cannot be determined. This can happen when a measure formula refers to a column that contains many values without specifying an aggregation such as min, max, count, or sum to get a single result.
      Thank you

        Hi cocoloco79 ,

        This is a similar post I answered before. Please kindly refer to:
