Comparing two Semantic Models

Is there a way to take two semantic models and compare them for differences in applied steps?  Kind of like you can compare two Word documents for changes?

    Hi DPCCGF,

    Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Community Forum.

    Please follow below steps for take two semantic models and compare them for differences in applied steps;

    1.Please Use Tabular Editor to open both models and visually compare tables, measures, and M code (Tabular Editor 3 supports side-by-side diff).

    2.Use ALM Toolkit to compare two Power BI datasets (published or local) and see detailed differences in schema and definitions.

    3.Export models as .pbit or extract metadata to JSON, then compare using diff tools like WinMerge or Beyond Compare.

    4.Try Power BI Helper to analyze and compare model metadata, including applied steps and dependencies.

    Please continue using Microsoft community forum.
