Compare the Created on Dates

Hi,

 

I need to compare the Created on Dates to determinte if there is a new or existing Giftaiddeclaration. 

Basically I'm saying if the GAD is <= than the date of the contact create on, 1(one month). 

 

New Existing = IF('nfp_giftaiddeclaration'[Created On] <= EDATE(RELATED('contact'[Created On]),1),
    "New","Existing")
 

 

But I m getting this error

    Have you tried creating a calculated column that would give you the durations between these two dates and then using that you can derive your answer?

      This is a column Arjun but not sure why why is not working. I might try your option as well but that will be more complicated!
